Travel Iowa Strengthens Focus on Irish Travel Trade Market with Cellet Marketing & PR Ltd

Travel Iowa is pleased to announce a new partnership with Cellet Marketing & PR Ltd to elevate the state’s profile in the Irish travel market. This initiative underscores Iowa’s commitment to attracting Irish visitors by highlighting its distinctive attractions, outdoor adventures, and cultural experiences.

Cellet PR and Marketing, with over 35 years of expertise in travel trade communications, will lead the Irish & UK campaign. Their integrated approach, combining trade marketing, consumer advertising, and PR to maximize return on investment, will ensure Iowa’s offerings reach travel agents and tour operators effectively.

Iowa presents a diverse travel portfolio for Irish audiences. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore scenic byways, cycling trails, and the Mississippi River’s natural beauty, while culture seekers can enjoy the Great River Road National Scenic Byway, historic landmarks such as the only Frank Lloyd Wright Hotel in the World, film location of the ‘Field of Dreams’ and seasonal festivals. Golf tourism is also growing, with top-tier courses and a vibrant farm-to-table and craft beverage scene enhancing the visitor experience.

Through trade shows, PR campaigns, co-op advertising, and trade familiarisation trips, Travel Iowa is providing Irish tour operators with tools and incentives to promote the state. International tourism contributes billions to Iowa’s economy annually, and this Irish and UK – focused strategy aims to build awareness and attract travellers seeking authentic, memorable experiences.

“We are thrilled to work with Cellet to showcase Iowa’s unique offerings,” said Amy Zeigler, State Tourism Manager. “From outdoor adventures to cultural treasures, Irish travellers will discover something truly special here.”
