Travel Counsellors Conference “All in”

#Traveltradetogether

Travel Counsellors Conference “All in”Cathy Burke (Director of International Business Development, MD at TC Ireland), Bernie Whelan (Business Development Manager Travel Counsellors Ireland), Jim Eastwood (Sales Director Travel Counsellors) and Ciara Macconnell (Corporate Business Development Travel Counsellors Ireland) opened day one of the “All IN” Travel Counsellors Conference in Kilkenny’s Lyrath Estate and what a day of interaction, connectivity, favourite things, awards, trade partner updates and Travel Counsellors achievements it was.

It was so good to be with the Travel Counsellors community to share their story since our last fully inclusive gathering along with our valued business partners from home and abroad back in 2019. Highly charged with emotion, passion and excitement, the opening day enabled all attendees to re-engage, acknowledge mutual invaluable support and set course for even more energising, awards and lots of fun over the course of the two-day conference.

Cathy Burke (Director of International Business Development, MD at TC Ireland) made specific reference to all 67 TC’S attending the conference over the course of the weekend with no cancellations or no shows out of a total community of 72 in Ireland, coupled with the attendance of 50 Trade partners “All In” as the theme for this year was more than apt.

Dave Callan (Customer Director Travel Counsellors) delivered the brand evolution for Travel Counsellors and customer delivery update to all delegates and media partners. He welcomed all 18 new Travel Counsellors who have joined since the last conference pre covid to their very first conference.

Jim Eastwood (Sales Director) announced 20% of all Travel Counsellors in Ireland fall into the very exclusive category of Gold which is the highest ratio of ‘Gold’ status worldwide for Travel Counsellors who are on course for a record-breaking turnover for 2023 in Ireland. There are some unbelievable numbers filtering though key economists with a figure of €140 billion believed to sitting with household savings in Ireland! Our current unemployment rate is 4.4%, one of the lowest in the EU and the retail sector recording growth of over 7% which bodes well for all in the industry despite the negative commentary we are drip fed every single day. he trajectory of growth and expansion with the Travel Counsellors group continues to inspire with all TC Business owners in Ireland and worldwide all set of another record-breaking year.
