Travel Centres consolidates its position as Ireland’s leading agency consortium

Travel Centres has further consolidated its position as Ireland’s leading agency consortium with some of its members having acquired a number of well-established agencies throughout the country towards the latter end of last year. It started with Frosch Irelands’ acquisition of Grogan Travel on August 1st, quickly followed by John Galligan Travel later that same month. In November, Best4Travel took over Jim Vaughan’s Just Split Travel and have followed that up with the more recent acquisition of Talbot Street-based Sky Tours.

Hot off the press is the announcement that in recent days, Kilkenny-based Marble City Travel has acquired Top Class Travel in Carlow. Both Top Class Travel in Carlow and Grogan Travel in Tuam were affiliated to Worldchoice whilst John Galligan Travel, Just Split and Sky Tours were unaffiliated.

Dominic & Bernie would like to welcome all these new agencies into the growing Travel Centres family and wish all their members a successful and profitable 2026! This year’s 21st annual Travel Centres conference will take place for the third year in a row at Lawlors Hotel in Naas on November 6th and 7th.
