Travel Centres Conference
More light shining on a resumption to what we all do best with the news that Dominic and Bernie Burke have confirmed their annual Travel Centres Conference for the weekend of November the 12th and 13th in the beautiful Killashee House Hotel, where it all began for Travel Centres 17 years ago.
Their last conference in 2019 was themed ‘Travel Agent 2.0 – How to Reboot the Retail Experience!’ and now that takes on a whole new meaning as we all look forward to full reengagement and how we all adapt to a new landscape.
Keep up to date
Travelbiz will keep you all appraised of dates and schedules via our Events page as Dominic was keen to point out, that due to the ever-changing nature of government advisories regarding maximum numbers allowed to attend indoor gatherings, these dates remain provisional at the moment and we’ll advise you in more detail as time goes by and the picture becomes clearer.
Outline plan for the events
“Because of the profoundly negative financial impact that the past 12 months have had on our industry, we are also extremely conscious of the cost factor so be assured that it will not be business as usual in that regard and we will be cutting our cloth to our measure — how much so will be largely determined by what our industry colleagues decide. At present, the outline plan is as follows”, Dominic said.
- Friday November 12th, 2021 – Meet up for owners/managers dinner
- Saturday November 13th, 2021 – Morning.: Open forum format for agents & suppliers. Afternoon: Supplier workshop (14.00 – 17.00)
