Tour America, Cruise Holidays, and The Travel Suite proudly announce the appointment of Neasa McHugh as the Training & Development Manager, effective January 9, 2024. Neasa, a veteran in the travel industry, brings a wealth of experience and a unique blend of skills to this pivotal role.

Neasa McHugh has been an integral part of Tour America’s journey since its inception in 1995, being one of the first employees. Over the span of 14 years. she held various key roles, including Sales & Marketing Manager at Tour America and later founding and serving as the Managing Director of Cruise Holidays -winning many performance awards with leading cruise companies during her time.

In addition to her achievements in the travel sector, Neasa has diversified her expertise by becoming a qualified Life Coach and Yoga Teacher. She has successfully led numerous wellness retreats across the globe, showcasing her dedication to personal development and holistic well-being.

In her new role as Training & Development Manager. Neasa is uniquely positioned to integrate her extensive background in Sales, Marketing, PR. Training and Management within the travel industry with over 10 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher. Life Coach, and Wellness Retreat Leader. This synergy will not only contribute to the professional growth of Tour America. Cruise Holidays, and The Travel Suite but will also pave the way for the development of innovative wellness holidays within the company.

Neasa McHugh’s return is a testament to the company’s commitment to fostering talent from within and adapting to the evolving landscape of the travel industry.

In 2023 we set about as a business to restructure and re-group, we have a plan for the next couple of years. and Neasa’s role is critical in achieving this objective. As a business we will now have three qualified executive coaches within our company.

Neasa joins an amazing management team of Deirdre Maher (CFO and  FC of all the brands), Polly Bond  (Commercial manager for airlines and  Cruises of all brands), Lorraine Quinn (MD The Travel Suite), Donna  Kenny (Product Manager and  IT outsourced  manager for all brands), Veronica Ahearn (Marketing and Strategic Manager – all brands), Geraldine Saunders (HR and Strategy for all brands), Jennifer Murray (Sales Manager – Tour America and Cruise Holidays), and Stephanie Frame (Strategy advisor and  Director).

The brands have its head office now in Milltown. and we have 43 staff working remotely throughout Ireland, South Africa, Spain, Scotland and Canada. We have embraced change and a work life balance without compromising on our customers satisfaction with us. Our focus will remain on high end products and outstanding customer service.

As a business Tour America’s brands are the only travel company in Ireland to have won Deloitte’s Best Managed company’s award 14 years in a row. They are also finalist in the Small Firms award for 2024, having already won this prestigious award in 2014. These awards are confirmations of the highest levels of best practice in our industry, from KPl’s to NPS and constantly reviewing how we can become a better company and employer.
