Top agent joins Royal Caribbean International’s in-house team to support growth in Ireland

#Traveltradetogether

This month, Royal Caribbean International welcomes Elaine Truesdale to the UK and Ireland team as Sales Development Manager, to support the brand’s growth in the Irish market.

Elaine joins the team following a number of years at specialist travel agencies, where her passion for Royal Caribbean began. As a travel agent, Elaine consistently topped Royal Caribbean’s sales incentive leaderboards and was the first agent in Ireland to receive ‘Guru’ status for completing the highest level of brand training on Royal Caribbean’s online travel agent learning and rewards platform, My Club Royal.

Elaine Truesdale says, “I am very much looking forward to starting at Royal Caribbean later this month! An exciting aspect of the role is having the opportunity to pass on my enthusiasm and knowledge of the brand, gained from years of being an agent selling this fabulous product, as well as sailing onboard with my family”.

Jennifer Callister, Head of Sales in Ireland, says “We could not ask for anyone better to represent the Royal Caribbean brand in the Irish market. Elaine’s passion for our brand is evident through her impressive track record, consistently ranking at the top of our leaderboards in various travel partner initiatives. We are sure she will be a huge asset to the team and we are excited to see what she can bring to this role”.

Elaine will join Royal Caribbean International on 24 February and will be based in Northern Ireland.  Royal Caribbean International is set for a busy 2025, with a host of announcements and launches throughout the year. Allure of the Seas returns to Europe in April, following a $100+ million amplification process to expand its offering for holidaymakers. August will see the launch of Royal Caribbean’s second Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas, which will debut from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, plus Royal Caribbean’s private destination offering will expand with the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, launching in The Bahamas in December.
