The View, Boston’s evolution and more from Travelbiz meets Boston.

#Meetboston #Travelbizconnect #Traveltradetogether

Travelbiz shares more from our Meet Boston experience.

Boston as we discovered on our recent visit with Meet Boston and Delta Airlines has so much more offer than one would expect. “The walking city” provides you with endless options to explore and soak up the Cities unique history that played such a vital role in the evolution of the USA.

From our base on Seaport Boulevard we made our way to Faneuil Hall where we picked up our Freedom Trail tour with our guide and walking encyclopaedia on all things Boston, Jeremy. The freedom trail is clearly marked throughout the city and easy to navigate as a result. The African American Patriots walking tour enables you to celebrate the African American patriots that played a vital role in the start of the American evolution in Boston and in the formation of the country. Led by Jeremy in his 18th-century costumed guide, we got an up close and personal history through the eyes of African American revolutionaries such as Crispus Attucks, Phillis Heatley, Prince Hall, Peter Salem, and more.

Highly recommended Visits that we got to experience.

Museum of African American History.  The Birthplace of the Boston Abolitionist Movement. At the Museum of African American History, we connected to inspiring and authentic representations of life in the 18th and 19th centuries in a unique setting where Black communities organised and advanced the cause of freedom. Boston Duck Tour. The fun begins as soon as you board the “DUCK”, a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. We were greeted by one of their legendary tour ConDUCKtors, who narrated our tour and cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts. At the end of the tour, our ConDUCKtor took our DUCK right into the Charles River for breathtaking views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.
