The City of Durban plays host to Indaba

#Traveltradetogether

Once again, the City of Durban plays host to Africa’s Travel Indaba. The word Indaba means a meeting to discuss a serious topic. Indaba is an iconic African leisure trade show owned by our hosts South African Tourism. It’s a 4-day trade show attended by more than 6,000 delegates, including 1,000 international buyers from over 63 countries globally and 1,000 exhibitors showcasing 350 products with a remarkable 21,000 meetings secured between exhibitors and international buyers. Indaba boasts exhibitors from 21 African countries, including 10 tourist boards. Decan Mescall (Travelbiz Features Editor) is attending the show as a guest of South African Tourism and is being hosted by Kgomotso Ramothea (Manager Marketing and Communications) and Rachel Lewis (Campaign and Partnership Manager). Declan met with Dubliner Annie Williams owner of Kingfisher Creek Lodge who is keen to make connections with the Irish trade as she would love to welcome Irish guests to her property in Hoedspruit.
