Calling all Travel agents with a lot or even a little energy!

Air Canada will be joining with the Canadian-Irish community in Herbert Park, Dublin on Saturday 14th September for the now annual Terry Fox 5km run to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

Terry Fox was an inspirational young Canadian who, despite losing a leg to amputation due to bone cancer, embarked on an amazing running journey across Canada. Though his cancer returned and he passed away during his Marathon of Hope his legacy lives on in the form of Terry Fox runs right across Canada and the globe where funds raised go towards Cancer Research.

It’s only 5km and you can run or walk it. Air Canada are donating a pair of tickets to be raffled off and each entrant gets a free raffle ticket. This year Fred Fox, Terry’s older brother will be attending the Dublin race.

Find out more and register at HERE.

If you can’t take part you can consider donating on Air Canada’s sales manager Blaithin O’Donnell’s donation page: CLICK HERE.

Blaithin says she’s only walking it so no world records will be set!
