Team Emirates spread festive joy and appreciation with trade partners

The very popular and vastly experienced Ita Hendrick joined Travelbiz at the Team Emirates annual trade appreciation Christmas lunch, held at Amuri on Chatham Street in Dublin. The event was a delightful afternoon filled with celebration, fine dining, excellent wine, and lively travel industry chatter, perfectly ushering in the festive season.

Our gracious hosts included Anita Thomas, Emirates Country Manager for Ireland, alongside Sales Manager Filippo Rocchi, Account Manager Lisa Rabbitte, and Sales Executive Federica Varisco. They warmly welcomed valued trade partners and guests to the occasion.

Anita highlighted the exceptional relationships Emirates has cultivated with retail, corporate, wholesale, and online partners. These partnerships contributed to a record-breaking year in 2024 and an already remarkable start to 2025 in terms of revenue and load factors. Notably, Dublin ranks as one of Emirates’ top-performing departure points globally, offering double daily flights to Dubai and beyond. Popular destinations for Irish travelers in 2024 include Australia, Vietnam, the Indian Ocean, the Maldives, South Africa, and Bali.

Anita also expressed her appreciation for her dedicated sales team in Ireland, who are poised for yet another record-breaking year ahead.
