TAP Air Portugal Offers Increased Flexibility in Bookings

The airline is allowing free rebooking for tickets issued up to 15 June.

TAP Air Portugal announces the waiver of change fees on all tickets issued between 15 May and 15 June 2026, allowing customers to book flights and adjust their travel plans with greater flexibility.

TAP Air Portugal A330neo

The measure applies to all markets where the airline operates and covers journeys with a scheduled departure within the ticket’s original validity period, offering customers an extra layer of confidence when planning their trips.

This initiative reinforces TAP’s commitment to placing customer convenience and trust at the heart of the travel experience, helping those who wish to book holidays, weekend getaways or business trips without any last-minute worries.

Rebooking must be carried out within the ticket’s original validity period and completed up to seven days before the departure of the outbound flight. The waiver applies exclusively to the change fee. If the original booking class is not available, the ticket will be reissued with an adjustment to the fare and fees.

All terms and conditions can be viewed here.

TAP Air Portugal currently flies from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester airport in the UK and from Dublin in Ireland to Lisbon and Porto with onward connections to Brazil, Africa, Madeira, Azores, the USA and Canada.  TAP has a stop over programme allowing passengers to stop in either Lisbon or Porto on long haul journeys for up to 7 days for no additional air fare.

Tickets for flights can be booked at https://www.flytap.com/en_gb/
