South Africa Tourism Trade Media appreciation Lunch

Kgomotoso Ramothea (Acting Hub Head, South African Tourism) brought her full UK & Ireland team of Rachel Lewis (Campaign and Partnership Manager), Ewelina Turek (Marketing & Communications Officer) and Elisa Urdiales Perez del Molino (Trade Relations Officer) to Dublin to host a media lunch attended by Travelbiz Features Editor Declan Mescall to talk out about their recent news, campaigns and plans for 2024, and enjoy some delicious South African food! Kgomotoso welcomed their guests and said the Irish market is very important for South Africa and this media lunch event has become an integral part of their yearly campaign in Ireland.

2024 marks the thirtieth anniversary of democracy in South Africa so a great opportunity for visitors to the country to experience all the great things on offer such as wildlife, scenic beauty, adventure activities and history. Manet Van Rensburg (Counsellor Political Embassy of The Republic of South Africa in Dublin) said that God had a very good day when he created South Africa as it is a beautiful and very welcoming country. South African Tourism occupied a prominent spot at the Holiday World Show where it showcased some of its excellent tourist infrastructure and highlighted a trip to South Africa is very affordable as the South African rand offers great value for money.
