Saudi Tourism Showcases the Kingdom’s Rich Offering in Dublin Roadshow

The Saudi Tourism Authority hosted their first ever travel trade roadshow in Dublin on Thursday evening in the stunning Anantara Marker Hotel.

The country is rapidly enhancing its offering for international tourists and this was a great opportunity for the local trade to get an insight into the incredible things that can be experienced in destination. These include breathtaking nature, a sophisticated culinary scene, ancient history and culture (no less than eight UNESCO World Heritage sites!), fabulous shopping and world-class sporting events.

Some of the key places to visit in Saudi Arabia that were highlighted include Riyadh, Jeddah AlUla, Diriya, Asser and the Red Sea. See here for more information on these diverse and enchanting places.

The Saudi delegation was led by Executive Director Abdulgader Mohammed Khumayes, who is passionate about showcasing all that his wonderful country has to offer on the world stage. And there’s an Irish connection too! Abdulgader’s mother was Irish and he told us about the thriving Irish community in Saudi and its active GAA club.

The delegation also included several Saudi DMCs who are eager to forge connections with the Irish travel trade.
