Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay Unveils Morocco’s First Medi-Spa

#Traveltradetogether

An integrative sanctuary with a preventative approach.

Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay has launched its 4,300m² Medi-Spa, with a Longevity Programme that combines the latest medical expertise and age-old holistic traditions so that guests can leave the property in optimal health, both physically and mentally.

What sets this concept apart is the seamless fusion of a world-class luxury resort, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, with an exceptional and expansive holistic wellness sanctuary – all set against a beautiful and tranquil setting on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, where guests can really slow down and allow a deep regeneration of their bodies and souls, guided by a team of experts.

A Tailored Wellness Experience

The Medi-Spa’s Longevity Programme, which is a based on a stay of 7, 10 or 14 days, is based on five key pillars.

  • Metabolic and Functional Balance – Each guest’s journey begins with a thorough assessment that includes blood tests to identify deficiencies, imbalances and to evaluate overall health.
  • Nutritional Balance – Well-balanced, bio-active dishes influenced by the Blue Zone diet are provided throughout a guest’s stay, along with personalised nutritional guidance based on bioimpedance testing.
  • Physical Fitness & Energy – Cardiovascular, postural, muscle strength and mobility testing result in fitness advice to promote vitality and performance.
  • Sleep & Recovery – Lifestyle and sleep habit assessments generate personalised protocols to improve rest and regeneration.
  • Stress & Emotional Management – Heart rate variability and cortisol cycle analysis give a clear picture of what is required to ensure mental and emotional balance, via mindfulness, yoga and energy treatments.

A Unique Blend of Science and Holistic Healing

The Longevity Programme has been created by an inhouse doctor, who is assisted in delivering the programme by three doctors (one general practitioner specialising in dermatology and two holistic medicine specialists), two medical therapists (a dietitian and a physiotherapist), three nurses and 12 therapists, all of whom deliver exceptional service in their field.

Beyond medical evaluations, guests immerse themselves in a comprehensive wellness experience, engaging in rejuvenating therapies such as cryotherapy, acupuncture, sound healing, and lymphatic drainage, alongside specialised treatments like Watsu massage, osteopathy, and holistic therapies. Private sessions in yoga, Pilates Reformer, and high-intensity training further enhance both physical vitality and mental clarity.

The Medi-Spa is also home to some of the latest non-invasive medical technology, including Leo Hyper Pulse (for hair removal and various aesthetic treatments), CryoGenesys® (reducing fat by 30-40% in the first session), Icoone® Laser (offering visible improvements to the face and body after the first session) and Dermio Care® (promoting skin rejuvenation).

In between assessments and treatments, the extensive Medi-Spa provides the ultimate haven for well-being, featuring a marine pool and hydrotherapy suites, a traditional hammam, meditation spaces, yoga and Pilates studios, and private relaxation areas, giving guests plenty of space to find a quiet corner, switch off and completely unwind.

The Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay Medi-Spa menus have been meticulously designed to support well-being and longevity, by following the Mediterranean Blue Zone diet with an emphasis on seasonal fruit and vegetables, plus fresh fish as the main protein source. Three menus (of 850, 1300 and 1500 calories daily) have been created by the Executive Chef, in consultation with the resident nutritionist. The 850-calorie menu is recommended for the longevity programme, but guests have the option to choose the higher calorie menus if they do not wish to lose weight. All the reduced calorie menus reflect the outstanding cooking of the hotel’s restaurants, without skimping on taste and beautiful presentation.

In short, the Longevity Programme at Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay redefines luxury wellness, blending cutting-edge health advancements with time-honoured healing traditions. The preventative and participatory health approach offers a unique opportunity for guests to restore balance, enhance longevity, and embrace a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle that they can take with them when they return home.

Pricing

Prices for the 7-day programme start from MAD55,000 (currently approx. £4,500), inclusive of all assessments and treatments (accommodation costs are additional).

A la carte Medi-Spa services are available on request for those guests who do not wish to immerse themselves in a 7-day programme, but who may wish to sample specific treatments.
