Royal Caribbean to host Eurovision Song Contest Holidays this Spring

Four Unique Sailings Deliver New Ways to Experience the World’s Largest Live Music Event While Sailing Across Europe.

Following the start of a new adventure as an Official Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 and 2025, Royal Caribbean International has revealed four unique European holidays will take centre stage in May 2024 as the official Eurovision-themed sailings of the year. Fans of the world’s largest live music event and live entertainment alike can experience the show’s Grand Final weekend in a whole new way on Anthem, Explorer, Oasis and Odyssey of the Seas, with special edition experiences across entertainment, dining and more. The holidays are available to book now on Royal Caribbean’s website.

Dancing queens on the newly themed holidays will find a line-up of Eurovision experiences they can enjoy, from curated menus and drinks to one-of-a-kind surprises, while sailing from one popular European destination to the next. Royal Caribbean’s showstopping entertainment venues, including Two70 – where cutting-edge technology and artistry merge – the Studio B ice arena and live music venue Music Hall, will also transform into the perfect spot to watch the winner be crowned in the long-awaited final.

“Millions of fans across the world watch the Eurovision Song Contest from home every year, and now these sailings give fans the chance to unite and celebrate the world’s largest live music event in a way they never have before while adventuring around Europe,” said Ben Bouldin, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Royal Caribbean International. “Paired with Royal Caribbean’s own world-class entertainment, holidaymakers can lay all their love on the world of Eurovision as they visit a line-up of landmark destinations across the continent, making for a truly memorable holiday.”

Eurovision-Themed Holidays

Sailing in Europe for the first time with its amplified adventures, the original gamechanger is the perfect backdrop for friends and families to create lifelong memories. From the 10-storey Ultimate Abyss and entertainment across air, ice, water and theatre to a variety of restaurants, bars and lounges, including the cruise line’s first barbecue restaurant, Portside BBQ, there are experiences for everyone. Holidaymakers will explore the Western Mediterranean for seven nights as they visiting bucket-list destinations like Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Florence (La Spezia), Italy; and Provence (Marseille), France.

The fan favourite will whisk holidaymakers and Eurovision fans across Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Turkey on a 12-night adventure, where they can exploring everything from the blue domes of Mykonos, Greece, to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Pompeii, Italy, the ruins of Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey, and more. Between one destination and the next, there’s an all-encompassing combination of experiences to enjoy on board, like a vibrant resort-style pool deck; skydiving at RipCord by iFly; SeaPlex, the largest indoor and outdoor activity complex at sea, with bumper cars, laser tag, an arcade and more.

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! a weekend 2-night getaway to the legendary city of Le Havre, near Paris, France. Adventurers can enjoy walks along the Seine while taking in the renowned architecture and marvel at the Eiffel Tower. The thrills on board are also next level, with adrenaline-pumping experiences like the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator and the North Star glass observation capsule that can reach as high as 300 feet above the ocean.

The 7-night holiday to Italy, Greece and Croatia will kick off in the best way with the Eurovision Grand Final Viewing Party on the first night. Following the celebration, travellers can look forward to exploring the Aegean Sea and the idyllic beaches, forest-clad mountains and the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean destinations, such as Corfu and Crete, Greece; Kotor, Montenegro; and Messina, Italy. The adventures continue on board at the rock climbing wallice-skating rinkracing waterslides, dedicated spaces for kids and teens, the adults-only Solarium pool and more.
