Royal Caribbean launches extensive New Training Tour for Travel Partners

#Traveltradetogether

The Cruise Line’s New Offering Will See its Training Team Get Up Close and Personal with Agents Across the UK and Ireland.

Royal Caribbean International has announced a packed schedule of training sessions, events and webinars for the second half of the year, with the cruise line aiming to meet with more than 1,000 agents, in person, throughout the next five months. The training tour further supports Royal Caribbean’s newly launched digital sales tool, My Royal Genie, which allows agents to make and share their own custom digital brochures with customers.

Led by Royal Caribbean’s recently appointed training manager, Kristi Reeser, the tour includes immersion sessions and interactive learning opportunities designed with new team members and those new to the cruise industry in mind, as well as advanced sales training for more experienced agents and top-up sessions for anyone looking for the latest updates and game-changing innovations from Royal Caribbean. The activity is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support travel agents within the cruise industry, with sessions running in addition to the wide range of on-demand learning modules available to agents via the cruise line’s leading rewards and learning platform, Club Royal.

Ahead of the arrival of the cruise line’s Icon of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas ships sessions will give agents a deeper understanding of the brand and current offers, enabling them to more effectively sell the unforgettable holidays Royal Caribbean is known for. In addition to the extensive schedule of in-person events, the cruise line will also host live webinars each month, making it as easy as possible for agents to hear directly from the experts, ask questions and access key insights.

Kristi Reeser, Training Manager, Royal Caribbean International said: “This is the biggest training tour Royal Caribbean has undertaken in recent years. We’re excited to be back on the road, meeting and speaking with travel agents directly and offering training sessions that reflect the fast-paced changes we’re seeing in the cruise industry.”

“There’s a huge opportunity out there for travel agents, particularly as we look ahead to 2024 and the new ships that we’ll be welcoming to the fleet. These training sessions will give agents the chance to find out more about what Icon and Utopia have to offer and all the ways in which guests can enjoy memory-making experiences onboard.”

Training sessions hosted by Kristi will include:

  • Immersive training sessions – in-person sessions, tailored to specific team requirements and incorporating opportunities to explore some of the experiences available onboard Royal Caribbean’s ships.
  • Monthly, interactive webinars -featuring expert guest speakers from within the industry, updates on the latest developments from Royal Caribbean and training and Q&A support for travel agent initiatives including new sales support services such as the new My Royal Genie digital brochure creation tool.
  • Hosted ship visits, designed to provide first-hand experiences for those new to cruise, or the brand, and their families and give a taste of what guests can enjoy onboard.

Agents looking for further information or to book a place on the monthly, interactive webinar sessions can visit myclubroyal.com and sign up to the Club Royal newsletter for all the latest
