Riviera Travel are cruising back into the Irish market

#Traveltradetogether

Multi award winning luxury river cruise and escorted tours specialist Riviera Travel is back in the Irish market for 2024 following its earlier withdrawal due to Covid 19. They held a media reception to announce their programme of cruises for next year and beyond and Travelbiz was represented by Features Editor Declan Mescall. Sarah Fowler (Marketing Director) led the Riviera team and was joined by Will Sarson (Product Manager), Vicky Billing (Head of Sales Ireland) and Catherine Johnson (PR & Events Manager).

Established in 1984, 2024 sees Riviera Travel celebrate 40 years in travel. They offer direct flights from Dublin or Belfast and operate a fleet of five-star ships with 30 river cruise itineraries on Europe’s main waterways including the Seine, Rhone, Rhine, Douro and Danube. Cabins are spacious with windows or French balconies and delicious full board dining, plus Captain’s Dinner and free superior drinks package with free WiFi and 20kg+ luggage allowance is included. Insightful excursions and visits every day with local guides are the norm. Prices are in Euro.

The Riviera difference

Here are a few reasons why you can feel confident when booking a holiday with Riviera Travel.

Unbeatable Value for Money & Honest Pricing

With almost 40 years of experience as the UK’s leading river cruise operator, we can offer remarkable value on our holidays; our scale and the strong relationships we’ve built with our suppliers enables us to negotiate exceptional rates – and we pass those savings straight back to you. Our prices are fair and straightforward, with no hidden extras. Unlike many of our competitors, with us there’s no smoke and mirrors with our pricing and promotions – you’ll never find us inflating our prices just to offer artificially big discounts – we just offer amazing value for money, all the time.

Handcrafted holidays with authentic experiences

Like you, we love to travel. Our team of experts personally selects every aspect of your holiday so that it is thoughtfully balanced and honed to perfection. With our exceptional fleet of ships, you can rest assured that you’ll be exploring Europe in comfort.

While you travel, you’re looked after by our talented team of Cruise Directors. Together, we ensure that you’ll get fascinating perspectives on the culture, history, gastronomy, art and architecture of the places you visit. You’ll step off the tourist trail and beyond the pages of a guide book, discovering hidden gems, mingling with the locals, and exploring lesser-known but equally beautiful places.
