Riviera Travel reports strong mid-year trade growth with triple-digit gains
Riviera Travel is celebrating a standout mid-year performance in the trade, with passenger numbers and revenue both delivering impressive triple-digit growth thanks to the continued support and dedication of its valued travel agent partners.

Year-to-date results show Ireland trade passenger numbers have increased by 236% year-on-year, while revenue has grown by 230%. This strong performance reflects sustained demand across the Riviera portfolio, as well as the fantastic engagement and commitment from the travel trade.
River cruise continues to lead the way, with Ireland trade passenger numbers up 202% year-on-year and revenue increasing by 182%. The results highlight not only the strength of Riviera Travel’s core product, but also the confidence agents have in recommending the brand to their customers. Growth has also been supported by the strong performance of its solo river cruise programme, following the launch of its dedicated solo ship and the continued expansion of its solo offering.

The trade has exceeded expectations, with bookings currently ahead of target, clear evidence of the momentum being driven through agent sales. Peak booking periods further reinforced this, with again another record-breaking year for Riveira Travel.
Demand for late 2026 departures remain strong across the portfolio, driven by sustained customer interest in upcoming travel and strong engagement from the trade.
Riviera Travel credits part of this success to the launch of Riviera Explorer and RIVA AI, which are empowering agents with smarter, more accessible tools to support sales and customer engagement.
