Qatar Tourism to Showcase Latest Tourism Developments at World Travel Market

Qatar Tourism is set to represent the State of Qatar, leading a delegation comprising 33 industry partners and four corporate partners, at the upcoming World Travel Market (WTM) London. Renowned as one of the most significant travel trade events globally, this edition of WTM is scheduled to take place from 5th to 7th November 2024.

Presented Visit Qatar, Qatar Tourism’s main marketing and promotional arm, the two-storey pavilion will include esteemed establishments such as Rosewood Hotel Doha, Katara Towers Hospitality, and Mandarin Oriental Doha, alongside various destination management companies (DMCs) and key organisations from the hospitality sector. Additionally, four corporate partners will take part, including Qatar Airways, Discover Qatar, Katara Hospitality, and Qatar Calendar.

His Excellency, Mr. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Board of Directors of Visit Qatar said: “We are pleased to return to WTM London this year to showcase Qatar’s expanded tourism offerings, which include new hotels and attractions, as well as our latest promotional campaigns and tourism products. The United Kingdom remains a key source market for international visitors to Qatar and we look forward to engaging with our valued stakeholders during WTM.”

Spanning over 609 square metres, the pavilion will present the destination’s attractions, while highlighting the country’s distinctive blend of modernity and cultural authenticity. It will feature a range of experiences, including a cultural activation by Heenat Salma, which will host engaging cultural workshops. Additionally, a Visit Qatar Café will offer local delicacies, including Qinwan premium dates. The pavilion will also showcase an activation by Meryal Water Park, Qatar’s largest waterpark, renowned for housing the world’s tallest water slide, as well as an interactive digital activation designed to promote Qatar.

Qatar Tourism, through Visit Qatar, remains committed to elevating the international profile of the country by participating in prominent events such as WTM. The World Travel Market in London is the premier global gathering for the travel industry, where leaders, buyers, and companies converge to network, negotiate, and discover the latest industry trends. WTM attracts over 50,000 senior travel industry professionals, distinguished speakers, and representatives from global tourism boards, to explore industry developments.
