Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field to host top football clubs including Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid during FIFA Club World Cup tournament in summer 2025
The world’s most popular football clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Juventus, are coming to Philadelphia in 2025, with tickets going on sale today.
Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field will host eight matches of the FIFA Club World CupTM tournament in June and July 2025. The FIFA Club World Cup matches planned for Philadelphia include six games in the group stage, one in the round of 16, and a quarterfinal match scheduled for July 4, 2025.
The FIFA Club World Cup, recently expanded to include 32 teams, is an international tournament between the most successful clubs from each of the six international confederations: AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA.
Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field is one of twelve U.S. stadiums that will host the tournament matches between June 15 and July 13, 2025.
“As we gear up for FIFA World Cup 26 in less than 24 months, hosting the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025 is the perfect showcase of our readiness to welcome fans from across the globe,” said Larry Needle, Executive Director of PHL Sports, a division of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city’s global tourism agency.

As a multi-cultural, sports-loving city, we know that our residents and visitors will be thrilled to see players from Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus, and other beloved football clubs hitting the pitch at Lincoln Financial Field next summer.”

- June 16 – Flamengo v Esperance Sportive de Tunise
- June 18 – Manchester City v Wydad AC
- June 20 – Flamengo v Chelsea
- June 22 – Juventus FC v Wydad AC
- June 24 – Esperance Sportive de Tunise v Chelsea
- June 26 – FC Salzburg v Real Madrid
- June 28 – Round of 16 Match
- July 4 – Quarterfinal
Lincoln Financial Field, also home to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, has a capacity to seat over 67,000 fans, massive LED video displays and over 500 concession stands. The stadium is located in the South Philadelphia sports complex, easily accessible from the city center by public transportation.
Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field was previously announced as the site for six FIFA World Cup 2026TM matches. In recent years, Lincoln Financial Field has hosted several international sporting events, including the 2015 Concacaf Gold Cup, the 2023 English Premier League Summer Series, and WrestleMania XL in April 2024.
