PATA to deliver training to 600 travel agents over coming months

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) UK & Ireland, plans to deliver even more training for its travel agent members, as the organisation looks to boost bookings further through the UK & Irish market – pata.org.uk.

Over the coming months, PATA plans to connect with more than 600 travel agents across the UK and Ireland as part of a big training programme.

Kicking off the schedule of training events taking place this year, sees the PATA team head to the North of England and Glasgow next month with the following:

  • PATA Roadshow Glasgow, 9th March 2026 – Citation Glasgow, 40 Wilson Street, Glasgow G1 1HD
  • PATA Roadshow Liverpool, 10th March 2026 – Corinthian Suite at Doubletree by Hilton Liverpool, 6 Sir Thomas St, Liverpool L1 6BR
  • PATA Roadshow Leeds, 11th March 2026 – Revolucion de Cuba, Leeds LS1 6DT
  • PATA Roadshow Birmingham, 12th March 2026 – Manahatta Temple Street, 10 Temple St, Birmingham B2 5BN

Each roadshow will follow the format of a speed-networking event where travel agents will meet with various suppliers from across the PATA region in short, 10-minute appointments. The evening will include food, drinks, networking and some exciting prizes up for grabs from luxury hotel stays; fabulous goodie bags; fancy bottles of wine and lots more!

Suppliers attending the roadshows include a mix of hotels and resorts, airlines, tourist boards, and travel representatives, covering everything in the Pacific Asia region from luxury stays and transportation to destination promotion and personalised travel experiences:
