OBEO TRAVEL – Once in a lifetime Volcano Adventure Package

#Traveltradetogether

Over the last weeks, Iceland has experienced 1000’s of earthquakes, sparking the potential for a volcano eruption. The earthquakes began beneath Mount Fagradalsfjall, which rests on top of a volcanic system and it is where two eruptions took place in the last two years on the Reykjanes Peninsula.

When lava spewed out near Mount Fagradalsfjall, 40 kilometres from the capital Reykjavik, in 2021 and 2022, it drew hundreds of thousands of visitors to catch a rare glimpse of an active volcano.

And today, the magma has re-surfaced and we have a new volcano !!

Obeo Travel have been monitoring the potential for this to happen for weeks and secured amazing itineraries for clients to truly experience the land of fire and ice.

The adventure package includes private transfers, helicopter excursions above the lava field, snowmobile safari on the glacier as well as a visit to the Blue Lagoon. Other optional excursions such as whale watching in the midnight sun, can also be offered.

ASM Ireland, who represent Obeo in the Irish market have uploaded the itinerary and price to their AGENT HUB on www.asm-ireland.ie or email info@obeo-travel.com
