A select group of travel agents recently embarked on an unforgettable familiarization trip to New York City, thanks to New York City Tourism and Conventions, Aer Lingus, and Royal Caribbean!

The journey kicked off with an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Newark, followed by stays at The Tillary Hotel, Downtown Brooklyn, and the Millennium Hotel Downtown, offering a mix of vibrant and luxury accommodations.

Top experiences included:

  • Mercer Labs – A mind-blowing immersive art & tech experience
  • The Warren Street Hotel – A stunning new luxury property
  • Mint House Hotel – A modern, tech-driven hospitality concept
  • A Slice of Brooklyn Tour – Pizza heaven with a side of history
  • 9/11 Museum & One World Observatory – A powerful and breathtaking NYC experience
  • The grand finale? An exclusive ship visit to Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas, offering a firsthand look at world-class cruising!

Special thanks to our incredible group leaders:

Tryphavana Cross (Senior Account Director NYC New York City Tourism + Conventions),  Jennifer Rafter (Head of Global Leisure Sales Aer Lingus) and  Jennifer Callister (Head of Ireland Royal Caribbean International).

And of course, our amazing FAM participants:

  • Nicolette Gelvin (Tour America)
  • Colette Carey (Cassidy Travel)
  • Yvonne McCormack (Best4Travel)
  • Nicky Thornton (Oasis Travel)
  • Dairine McGarrity (Travel Counsellors)
