New Representation in UK and Ireland – St John’s Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

#Traveltradetogether

Destination St. John’s is pleased to announce a new partnership with Della Tully and Lisa Chamberlain at LC Marketing Plus Ltd, appointing the UK-based agency as its General Sales Agency (GSA) for the UK and Ireland Travel Trade Market. This strategic collaboration is designed to increase awareness, foster key industry relationships, and drive visitation to St. John’s and the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

This initiative follows WestJet’s recent announcement of the return of direct seasonal flights between St. John’s and both London Gatwick and Dublin, providing an important gateway for European travelers. With these new air access opportunities, Destination St. John’s aims to leverage the UK and Ireland travel trade sector to position St. John’s as a premier destination for leisure travelers, tour operators, and travel agents.

“The return of WestJet’s direct flights between St. John’s and both London Gatwick and Dublin represents a significant opportunity for our destination to strengthen its presence in the UK and Ireland Travel Trade Market,” said Paul Bugge, CEO of Destination St. John’s. “By partnering with LC Marketing Plus Ltd, we are taking a strategic approach to increasing awareness, building key industry relationships, and driving visitation to St. John’s. This initiative aligns with our broader commitment to supporting sustainable air access and growing our tourism sector in a meaningful way. We look forward to working with Della and Lisa to showcase the unique experiences our city and province have to offer.”

LC Marketing Plus Ltd will provide sales and marketing services, working closely with key tour operators, travel agents, and industry stakeholders to position St. John’s as a must-visit destination. The agency will focus on developing targeted training programs, market intelligence reporting, and strategic promotions to enhance Newfoundland and Labrador’s presence in UK and Irish travel itineraries.
