MS Estrela with Travelbiz on the Douro

#Traveltradetogether

Travelmarvel Visit Portugal Visit Porto

Joining Jacinta from Travelbiz on this lovely cruise on the Douro in Portugal, I had the crème de La crème of Irish travel agents and media on board with me. Naturally, our Marvel Michelle Ryan representing APT Travel Marvel (Country Manager Ireland) kept us all in check and Caroline O’Toole (JWT Cruises), Celine Kenny (Cruise Escapes), Deirdre Sweeny (Sunway),  Sharon Jordan (ITTN), Michelle McManus (Best4travel), Sarah Pickering (NI Travel News), Sandra Corkin (Oasis Travel), Dawn Conway (Cassidy Travel), Clare O’Doherty and James Coughlan (both Travel Department) were our cruising buddies.

Ricardo from TAP Air Portugal decided to join his Irish buddies and we even had a guest appearance from Rebecca Kelly, so our fun group was brimming with camaraderie and craic.

We passed through Europe’s tallest lock; we had a fabulous port tasting in Quinta da Pacheca and we even squeezed in a raucous night of Karaoke. But, as ever, what goes on tour stays on tour…. So, for more juicy highlights, all (well, maybe not all!) will be revealed by staying tuned to Travelbiz.
