Marian heads for the Pyramids

#Traveltradetogether

#TRAVELTRADETOGETHER

Our very own Marian Benton joins trade and media partners on the Egyptair mega Fam in conjunction with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism this week.

The group will get to sample the all-new service with Egyptair direct from Dublin to Cairo which commenced this summer. Egyptair operate four times per week and is Ireland’s first scheduled air service to and from Egypt. This new route comes in light of the strategy of the flag carrier of Egypt to expand its network the most dynamic cities and hubs around the world.

The Egyptair trade and media Fam in conjunction with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism took off punctually from Dublin Airport at 14.20 hrs as we departed a wet and grey Dublin. Group leader Eileen Penrose (APG Ireland), was on hand to welcome the group and get us all on board and ready for our Egyptair experience.

Our flight on board the Egyptair A320 Neo aircraft was smooth and comfortable. Upon arrival in Cairo, we connected to our onward flight to Sharm El Sheikh and arrived one hour later, at midnight, to a warm, balmy night. Can’t wait to see what delights await us here! Stay tuned

EGYPTAIR is the flag carrier of Egypt. The airline is headquartered at Cairo International Airport, its main hub, operating scheduled passenger and freight services to more than 75 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. EGYPTAIR is also a member of the Star Alliance Network and is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, being the first airline in the Middle East and Africa to join IATA.
