Marble City Travel – Cruise Customer Service Role
A Cruise Customer Service role has evolved within Marble City Travel. We need a dedicated, positive, reliable, soul to bring together the many facets the cruise team and reservations. Over the booking lifecycle you will need to, ticket flights/transfers, handling amendments or cancellations, monitoring cruise documentation, special requests etc. The cruise administrator will provide expert advice on itineraries, manage client documentation, and ensure booking accuracy.
Key Responsibilities & Functions
- Booking Management: Handling new bookings, amendments (date/cabin changes), and re-pricing.
- Administrative Support: Sending travel documents, managing pre-travel queries.
- Ancillary Services: Adding flight documentation, hotels, shore excursions, and special requests to cruise bookings.
- Customer Service: Acting as the intermediary between clients and cruise lines to resolve booking issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Systems Proficiency: GDS (Galileo preference), and cruise line booking engines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with cruise products, itineraries, and booking systems is generally required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for client interaction.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in booking and documentation.
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple bookings, deadlines, and customer files simultaneously.
This role is open to home working, fulltime – 5 days per week. Salary commensurate with experience. This role may suit a travel agent who wishes to step away from sales.
