It’s all things Visit Savanah with Travelbiz

Don Shearer (Travelbiz and Travelfinders) joined Joe Marinelli (President & CEO Visit Savannah), Mindy Shea (Director International Sales), Angela Westerfield (CMO), Pritpal Singh (Partner / COO), Leftlane Hospitality (Hotels Bardo and Recess), Jo Piani ((MD Luna PR & Representation) and our very own Tony Lane (Executive Director, Visit USA Committee Ireland) for an afternoon of all things Visit Savanah.

As the seasons change and we enter Autumn vibes there is no better time to visit Savannah, Georgia: The Southern City Full of Surprises. Over a lovely lunch in Sophies on Harcourt Street we discussed future plans to ensure all of our Travelbiz and Travelfinders readers, followers and subscribers have full access to all that new and happening in Savannah, GA.

Prital Singh (Hotel Bardo Savannah) brought us up to speed on the Southeast’s newest jewel. The highly anticipated adaptive reuse project transformed a 19th century Southern Gothic structure sitting at the heart of Savannah’s Forsyth Park into Hotel Bardo Savannah – a timeless urban resort and private club focused on creating community and connection.

It’s the ideal season to take your time as the city’s temps grant a much-needed respite. Duck into one of several charming cafes for a morning caffeine pick-me-up and chat with a local while you wait. Savor seasonal menus vibrantly prepared with local ingredients and celebrate at fall festivals, buzzing with excitement. Think local shops as you wander through the Historic Landmark District and stroll through spacious squares. Experience the joy of this comforting season, bathed in the amber glow of fall.

Stay tuned to Travelbiz for more over the coming weeks.
