InFlightFlix and Destinations International join forces to connect Airline Passengers & Destinations globally

Destinations International, the global trade association for convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) and tourism boards and InflightFlix, a destination marketing solution that connects airline passengers and destinations via inflight video content, have formed a strategic alliance that will provide an innovative new inflight communication channel for destinations to communicate with airline passengers with air access. The partnership enables destination marketing organisations to inspire airline passengers to visit by showcasing reasons to visit their region to airline passengers inflight destination videos when dreaming about their next flight or pre arrival.

The partnership was first announced at the prestigious Destinations International Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas, where over 1600 delegates from around the globe gathered to explore cutting-edge advancements in the travel and tourism industry.

Martin O’Regan, CEO InFlightFlix, spoke at the “Flash of Brilliance” event during the Destinations International Annual Convention. His session will delve into the subject of “How Destination Marketing Organisations can create micro-moments and demand for travel.” Addressing Destination Marketing Organisations from across the world, Martin share insights on the companies journey from producing destination video content form hotel bedreem TVs in Ireland, global tour operator email campaigns, Deutshce Bahn in Germany and airlines inflight entertainment.

Destinations International’s Annual Convention offers a platform for industry peers and thought leaders to connect, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration within and beyond the tourism sector. With an integrated learning approach that accommodates varying budget sizes and discipline focuses, the convention encourages meaningful relationships between industry providers and destination organizations. The event promotes diversity of thought by bringing together the best minds in local insight and global expertise, driving innovation and advancements in destination marketing and tourism strategies.

Through this collaboration, InflightFlix will partner with Destinations International and its over 700 member organizations across 26 countries and territories to promote regions globally to allow more efficient marketing of destinations and experiences inflight that inspires people to travel. Additionally, the alliance will empower destination organizations to better serve other stakeholders and showcase great reasons to visit their region to a global audience.
