Hitting the high notes: Royal Caribbean launches its Eurovision-themed travel agent competition for Ireland and the UK

Following the announcement of its partnership with The Eurovision Song Contest, Royal Caribbean International has revealed its new competition for travel agents, “Book Your Way to Eurovision”. Agencies across the UK and Ireland are in for the chance to secure a once-in-a-lifetime hosted trip to the world’s largest live music event in Malmö, Sweden this May.

Running from 18th January to 29th February, the competition will see a jaw dropping prize up for grabs, including return flights, a hosted two-night getaway, dining and a VIP hospitality ticket at one of the four most coveted Eurovision events.

With 35 spaces available via a leaderboard system, agents simply need to head to the cruise line’s innovative learning and rewards platform, Club Royal, to get started. Once they’ve selected their avatar, agents need simply to book and claim a 2024 or 2025 Royal Caribbean International cruise to earn all-important points. Those at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the competition will win the exclusive top prize and be jetted off to Malmö later this year. Plus, it’s all to play for with 4 additional Wildcard entries to be drawn at random during the competition, from all agents who have claimed at least 1 booking entered into the draw.

Jennifer Callister, Head of Sales for Ireland, Royal Caribbean International said: “We’re so pleased to offer agents from Ireland the chance to join us as this iconic event. At Royal Caribbean, we’re always looking for ways to drum up excitement with our travel partners and we’re confident this competition will do just that.”

Those who miss out on the top spot need not worry as Royal Caribbean is hosting the best Eurovision party outside of Sweden. The store that books and claims the most Royal Caribbean 2024/25 bookings for each region will win their own Eurovision night out hosted by their Sales Development Manager (SDM). Including champagne, decorations and a £500/€500 budget to splash out at a venue near them. For agents across the 7 regions across the UK and Ireland, their SDM will be in touch soon with further details.
