Happy 4th July US Ambassador’s Residence in Dublin’s Phoenix Park!
Travelbiz attended celebrations at the US Ambassador’s Residence in Dublin’s Phoenix Park to mark America’s Independence Day.
Glorious sunshine brought big crowds and the atmosphere was great fun. Our own Tanaiste, Simon Harris, warmly welcomed the new Ambassador and promised him the friendship and support of Ireland and vowed that the legendary bond between our two nations would continue and thrive.
His Excellency, Ambassador Ed Walshe, stated his delight at his new position, his new home in Deerfield and his love of Irish weather! A special performance by Michael Flatley and then Luke Thomas, Una Healy & The Swing Cats kept entertainment at premium levels.
A most enjoyable and memorable occasion.
