Fiji Celebrate 20 years of Islands relationship with Ireland.

#Traveltradetogether

#TRAVELTRADETOGETHER

Don Shearer (Travelbiz) made his way to Iveagh House in Dublin to meet Jane West (Regional Director UK & Europe Fiji Tourism) and attend the commemoration of the 20 years of relations between yhe Republic of Fiji and the Republic of Ireland.

His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Fiji, Ratu Williame Maivalli Katonivere, welcomed guests and travel trade members to what was a very special celebration.  President Ratu was especially happy to mention Ireland’s historic win against the all blacks and is looking forward to another encounter against Fiji in the not too distant future.

With more than 300 islands, Fiji enjoyed upto 5,000 Irish visitors on an annual basis before the pandemic and looks forward to re-engaging with the trade to encourage your customers back to this amazing destination. I am reliably informed that you can do a one stop to the capital city of Suva via the west coast of the USA and Canada if you want direct access or why not take in New Zealand or Australia as a twin centre. Bucket list for sure! Stay tuned we will be announcing some great trade opportunities very soon.
