Emerald Cruises redeploys Emerald Azzurra to the Caribbean and introduces new itineraries for winter 2024/25

Luxury cruise operator Emerald Cruises (emeraldcruises.co.uk) has unveiled new Caribbean itineraries for the winter 2024/2025 season on board Emerald Azzurra.

This expansion comes in response to strong demand for the Caribbean sailings aboard sister yacht Emerald Sakara, which have nearly reached full capacity for the upcoming season.

The repositioning of Emerald Azzurra increases Emerald Cruises’ presence in the Caribbean, while pushing back its 2024/2025 Seychelles season to prioritise guest safety in light of the ongoing situation in the Red Sea.

The new Caribbean itineraries will sail from 7 December 2024 until 22 February 2025, with Emerald Cruises currently offering up to 30 per cent off its full collection of yacht cruise itineraries.

“Our decision to increase our Caribbean presence reflects the strong guest interest in this region and aligns with changes in the Red Sea conditions,” said Nichola Absalom, managing director, sales & marketing, Scenic Group UK.

“This adjustment not only enhances our offerings in highly sought-after destinations but ensures guests’ safety and satisfaction. Emerald Azzurra’s new schedule has been meticulously crafted to access unique ports that larger vessels simply cannot reach, providing exclusive and intimate exploration for all onboard.”

The 15-day ‘Discover the Yachting islands of the Caribbean’ sailing visits the Caribbean’s smaller ports, and less-travelled Caribbean islands, including Jost van Dyke and Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat and Antigua. Other highlights include stays in St. Barths and visits to Guadeloupe and Barbuda in the Leeward Islands. Prices for the 15-day ‘Discover the Yachting islands of the Caribbean’ sailing start from £6,256 per person, including return flights, transfers, meals, Wi-Fi and excursions, based on a 14 December 2024 departure on board Emerald Azzurra.

The eight-day ‘Caribbean Yachting Discovery’ highlights the laidback Caribbean lifestyle, with most days spent at anchor, allowing guests to explore secluded beaches and exclusive swimming spots across the Caribbean. Guests can make the most of swimming in the Caribbean Sea from their yacht’s Marina Platform, with use of marina toys such as snorkelling kits, kayaks, and SEABOB water scooters. Prices for the eight-day Caribbean Yachting Discovery sailing start from £3,529 per person, including return flights, transfers, meals, Wi-Fi and excursions, based on a 11 January 2025 departure on board Emerald Azzurra.
