Represented in Ireland by Catherine Grennell Whyte (ATTS), EL AL Israel Airlines will launch nonstop flights from Dublin to Tel Aviv starting 26 March.

EL AL announced the opening of new route at the WTM exhibition, the largest tourism exhibition in Europe that opened in London and Travelbiz was there to hear the great news.

The first flight is expected to depart from Tel Aviv on the 26 March 2023. EL AL plans to operate 3 flights weekly flights from Dublin to Tel Aviv, launching the first nonstop service between the two counties.

The new route will create new opportunities for both countries, offering the Irish market a new sunny destination to explore, and a nonstop flight to those seeking to travel on a pilgrimage journey to visit the Holy Land.   There are growing business links between the two countries especially in the high-tech sectors that will benefit from these flights.

The flights will operate on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday by a Boeing 737 aircraft with a flight time of approximately 6 hours, offering two classes of service – economy and business class with full on-board service.
