Delta Airlines Returns to Shannon

Delta boosts Ireland network with new Dublin-Minneapolis route and returning Shannon-New York service

U.S. airline to serve four U.S. gateways nonstop from Ireland, offering 33 weekly flights.✈

Following the success of Delta’s schedule to Ireland this summer, the U.S. airline is expanding its service between Ireland and the United States. Effective 10 May 2024,

Delta will launch a brand-new route from Dublin to Minneapolis operating five-times weekly. This seasonal service complements the airline’s existing seasonal flights to Atlanta and Boston and year-round service to New York JFK from Ireland’s capital city. Delta will also return service to Shannon adding a seasonal service to New York effective May 25, 2024.

“Delta has long served the Irish market and with strong customer demand for travel, we are delighted to start our first-ever nonstop service from Dublin to Minneapolis as well as return service to Shannon to New York,” said Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. “Expanding our footprint to Ireland next summer, Delta will serve four U.S. gateways nonstop. We look forward to offering our customers more travel options and building on the important cultural, trade and tourism links between our two countries.”

Delta will operate its new Dublin to Minneapolis service using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 216 seats featuring full-flat Delta One beds, Delta Premium Select, as well as Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin service. Delta’s Shannon to New York

JFK service will be operated with a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 193 seats and feature Delta’s domestic First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin service.

Customers can look forward to an extensive food and beverage program that includes thoughtfully curated menu options, such as specialty snacks and premium beer, wine and spirit choices. All customers can enjoy a wide selection of in-flight entertainment options and stay connected with Wi-Fi for purchase and enjoy free mobile messaging.

During the peak summer months, Delta will operate up to 33 weekly flights between Ireland and the United States. Delta’s new Dublin to Minneapolis and Shannon to New York JFK services* will be operated in partnership with its European partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic and operate as follows:

Dublin to Minneapolis:
