Congratulations Jim O’Brien (Travelbiz)

Jim O’Brien (Travelbiz) received An Garda Siochana Centenary Medal.

So proud of our very own Jim O’Brien (Technology Director Travelbiz Group) who retired from the Garda Reserve in 2015, having served in the Bridewell and Store Street Stations in Dublin, receiving his Centenary Medal from Assistant Commissioner Angela Willis.

All current, retired and families of deceased members received medals to commemorate the centenary 1922 – 2022 of An Garda Siochana. A commemoration ceremony took place in the historic GPO on 10 November last, members from four Dublin stations, Bridewell, Fitzgibbon, Mountjoy and Store Street were presented with medals. The ceremony also remembered the 89 members from around the country who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
