Congratulations Jason Whelan

Cover-More Blue Insurance Services Limited (formerly Blue Insurance Limited) has appointed Jason Whelan as Managing Director.

Headquartered in Dublin, Cover-More Blue is a leading supplier of travel and specialist insurance products with operations in Ireland and the UK.

Blue Insurance Limited was established in 2003 to provide Travel Insurance products to the Travel Industry. Blue Insurance became part of the Cover-More Group in 2018 and it changed its name to Cover-More Blue Insurance Services Limited in 2023. The Cover-More Group is a company of Zurich.

Jason has worked for Cover-More Blue and before that Blue Insurance Ltd for nearly twenty years, and has worked in many roles supporting the Irish and UK Travel trade during this time.

As Managing Director, Cover-More Blue, Jason will be responsible for creating the strategy, delivering growth, and for enhancing the core capabilities of the business as it continues to expand its operations in Ireland and the EEA.

Jason Whelan said: “I’m thrilled to lead Cover-More Blue and our fantastic award-winning team as we expand our presence in Ireland and across Europe. Our focus will continue to be on delivering exceptional service and innovative products to our valued partners in the travel industry.”
