Con Horgan TIGS Presidents Prize at Royal Dublin in honour of Susan Keirnan

#Traveltradetogether

Sponsored by our great partners Antonio Martin (Andalusia Tourist Board), Ruben Lopez and Kathryn Macdonnell (Spanish Tourist Office Dublin) Con Horgan’s Presidents Prize at Royal Dublin was memorable not only as it was Con’s Presidential swan song, but we all had the opportunity to remember and honour our great friend and travel industry colleague Susan Keirnan, a true icon of the Irish Travel Trade, who departed on her final journey on the last day of August 2023. Memories were shared on the day and night with Tom and Lisa, made all the more special as we raised €1,000 for the hospice that looked after Susan as she prepared for her next journey.

Antonio, Ruben and Catherine thanked the trade for their support as Irish passenger numbers to Spain are back to pre-covid levels with July of this year being the biggest on record!

The Winners on the day are highlighted below but we must again thank Antonio Martin from the Andalusia Tourist Board who also provided TIGS with an amazing prize in Andalusia including golf, exclusive accommodation and €400 toward the cost of flights for 2 very lucky people.

The winner of this amazing prize on the night was Martin Callinan of GTI Travel. Congratulations Martin.
