Closing date for 2026 Irish Travel Industry Awards

The closing date to enter the ITAA Member Awards, at the Irish Travel Industry Awards in association with MSC Cruises, has been extended to Thursday 11th December. These Member Awards highlight the contribution of ITAA Travel Agents to the Irish travel industry.

Entry forms have been issued to all ITAA member Owner Managers. This is an application process with clearly defined marking criteria, followed by a video interview for the short-listed candidates. The process will be overseen by an independent judging panel.

Tom Randles, President of the ITAA, commented “I would strongly encourage all ITAA members to enter the Member Awards this year to ensure all receive the recognition they richly deserve. From personal experience, as a previous winner, the experience will greatly enrich not only your business but will serve as great motivation for your team members.”

There are two categories:

  1. Travel Agency Category sponsored by Shannon Airport:
  • ITAA Travel Agency Of The Year – Under 10 Employees
  • ITAA Travel Agency Of The Year – Over 10 Employees
  • ITAA Corporate Travel Management Company (TMC) Of The Year
  • ITAA Corporate Travel Agency of the Year
  1. Innovation Category sponsored by Emirates:
  • Best Online Marketing
  • Best Offline Marketing
  • Best Sustainability Initiative

Irish Travel Industry Supplier Awards

Also taking place at the Irish Travel Industry Awards in association with MSC Cruises are the Supplier Awards. These awards feature a number of categories spanning all areas of the travel industry including air travel, tour operators, cruise lines, ferry companies, agency services providers and destinations. Voting for the Supplier Awards is open to all Licensed Travel Agents nationwide, whether ITAA members or not. Any Agent who has not received an invitation to vote can email info@itaa.ie for their invitation. Closing date for votes is Friday 21st December 2025.

Tom Randles, President of the ITAA said, “For the Supplier Awards, it is One Agency – One Vote and I urge all Owner Managers to consult with your staff to choose your agency’s choice supplier in each category. We are looking for suppliers who excel in the quality of their service and their product.”

Clare Dunne, CEO of the ITAA, said, “For this year’s Supplier Awards, every licensed Travel Agency in Ireland has the opportunity to vote. I strongly encourage all owner-managers to take time to engage with their teams and reflect on your shared experiences with the suppliers you work with. When voting, we ask that agencies consider the consistency and reliability of each supplier’s product, the overall quality of their service, and how responsive they are in supporting your business. These awards are about recognising the suppliers who truly stand out for delivering exceptional quality across both service and product.”

Owner/Managers are requested to consult with staff when deciding who to cast their vote for.

  • Price Competitiveness
  • Customer Service And Ability To Resolve Problems
