Cleveland Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Covering 33,000 acres of woods, water and wildlife, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is right on Cleveland’s doorstep. The park is a refuge for native plants and wildlife and provides routes of discovery for visitors. The winding Cuyahoga River gives way to deep forests, rolling hills, and open farmlands.
Visitors can walk, jog or bike through almost 100 miles of beautiful wilderness all the way to Lake Erie without crossing traffic, whilst taking in the Cuyahoga River on one side and remnants of the Ohio & Erie Canal on the other. A visit to the park should be on any outdoor enthusiasts’ bucket list when coming to Cleveland.
