#TRAVELTRADETOGETHER

Travelbiz Features Editor Declan Mescall was a guest of Celebrity Cruises at their travel trade appreciation lunch and business update in the Ivy Restaurant, Dublin. The high-powered Celebrity Cruises team was led by Jo Rzymowska (VP & Managing Director-EMEA) and included Claire Stirrup (Director of Sales -UK & Ireland), Nicola McNeish (Head of Sales UK & Ireland), Pauline Thomson (Strategic Account Manager Ireland) and Vic Snelgar (Sales Planning and Activation UK & Ireland).

The main message Jo and Claire wanted to get across in their presentations is that the multi award-winning Celebrity Cruises is BACK with a host of new and exciting initiatives including three simple price points – The Retreat (choose a suite – Most Amenities), All Included (choose value & convenience – Best Value) and Cruise-Only (Choose the lowest Fare – Best Rate). With the recent launch of their newest addition to their fleet Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Cruises has reimagined what luxury at sea means. 7 of their award-winning ships return to Europe in 2023 offering 45 overnight stays in 11 dynamic cities with more 7-night itineraries than ever with more and new overnight stays. 3 EDGE series ships are in Europe for ’23, Celebrity Apex sailing out of Amsterdam, Celebrity Beyond based in Rome and Celebrity Edge will operate from Rome and Barcelona. 2024 ship deployment news is coming soon.

Jo and Claire were very keen to thank the trade for their support and outlined a number of ‘Celebrity Loves Agents’ initiatives which they will announce in the near future including Client Gift (choose a gift for your client) and Celebrity Rewards Auctions. Luxury brand Celebrity Cruises is definitely back.
