Capital Region USA Media Dinner

A delegation from Destination DC, Maryland Office of Tourism and Virginia is for Lovers hosted a select group of travel media at a dinner in Pink Restaurant Dublin and Declan Mescall (Features Editor) represented Travelbiz.

The American team included partners from Maryland Office of Tourism Development, Visit Loudoun County (VA), Visit Frederick (MD), Visit Baltimore (MD) and Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.

Visit USA Committee (Ireland) was represented by executive director Tony Lane.

Capital Region USA: A Blend of History, Culture, and Natural Beauty

The Capital Region USA (CRUSA) is a dynamic travel destination encompassing Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Known for its rich history, diverse culture, and scenic landscapes, this region offers a mix of urban excitement and outdoor adventure.

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is a must-visit, featuring the National Aquarium and historic ships. Annapolis, the state capital, is known for its colonial charm and ties to the U.S. Naval Academy.

Virginia, with its rich colonial history, is home to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Mount Vernon. Beyond history, the state offers breathtaking natural beauty, from Shenandoah National Park to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
