Starlink Wi-Fi is Here
This month, we have launched free, fast and reliable Wi Fi powered by Starlink, representing a major step forward in the onboard experience for our customers.
We’ll continue begin rolling out complimentary Wi Fi across our fleet, available to every customer, in every cabin, with no extra charges.
Our first Starlink enabled flight departed recently, the BA197 LHR-IAH (Houston).

New Routes to Australia and Sri Lanka
We have announced a significant planned expansion to our network for winter 2026, with the addition of two new destinations, Melbourne in Australia and Colombo in Sri Lanka.
From 09th January 2027, British Airways will launch a new route to Melbourne in Australia. Flights will operate year -round from London Heathrow, via Kuala Lumpur, daily.
Melbourne, Australia’s cultural and commercial capital, pairs a thriving business ecosystem with world-class dining, arts and events, making it a standout destination for both corporate and leisure travellers. Melbourne is a dynamic hub with excellent connectivity, premium accommodation and effortless access to key business districts.
Beginning 23rd October 2026, we will launch a new route from London Gatwick to Colombo (CMB), Sri Lanka for the winter 2026 season. The service will operate three times a week.
Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant coastal capital, is an inspiring gateway for both leisure and corporate travel. With seamless connectivity, premium accommodation options and a dynamic commercial hub, Colombo offers exceptional opportunities to elevate our customers’ travel experience.

Summer 2026 Schedule

Our Summer 2026 schedule is now live, featuring a comprehensive mix of both long‑haul and short‑haul routes.
The schedule provides full visibility of frequencies across all destinations, covering the entire summer season from April through to October—making it easier to plan ahead with confidence.
Winter Schedule Expansion

British Airways are also increasing frequencies across several of our popular routes:
- Cape Town (a third daily flight from LHR will start in Dec)
- Haneda, Tokyo (from LHR, double daily from end of March and continues throughout the winter schedule)
- Daily Barbados (a new route from LGW, starting 25th Oct, will complement the existing LHR service and will have onward tags to Grenada, Guyana and Tobago)
- St Lucia (daily flights will become standalone services from 25th Oct)
- San José in Costa Rica (increases to five per week, and moves to LHR)
- Tampa will move to LHR from LGW (will remain a year-round service with a daily service from Heathrow in summer)
- Kingston and Punta Cana (from LGW, both increase to 4 per week)
- To the US, New Orleans increases to four per week, Baltimore becomes daily and Houston increases to 12 per week
- Delhi (continues to be served three times a day, as the frequency increase introduced at the end of the summer season remains in place)
- Abu Dhabi (from LHR will return for its planned winter schedule, operating daily from 25th October)

Level Joins the AJB

This strengthens the transatlantic partnership even further, offering customers greater choice, improved connectivity and a more seamless travel experience across key routes. Enhanced Extra Tier Points with BA Club
From 01st April, BA Club members will earn extra tier points on every qualifying flight (excluding Basic fares), based on fare type and cabin for BA flights. Tier points will also be awarded on AA & IB flights based on haul and cabin.
The extra tier points will be a fixed number of tier points based on haul, cabin & fare type and will be awarded on top of the base tier points earned. (Please note there is no change to the way base tier points are currently earned).

Iberia have released their latest monthly newsletter for March. This month they have set a record for seats in North America. What’s more, they are adding new destinations via Monterrey in Mexico with Viva Aerobus and supporting the inspiring talent at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week. Find out more below.
Expanding Domestic Network in Mexico
With just a few months to go before the new direct route between Monterrey and Madrid begins operating, Iberia has reached an agreement with the Mexican airline Viva, thanks to which this route will offer extensive connections to 32 cities across the country. This means that customers wishing to travel to and from Monterrey and connect to any of these 32 cities will be able to include all legs of their journey in a single booking and will have the option of checking their luggage through to their final destination, amongst other benefits, thereby ensuring maximum convenience and simplicity throughout their journey.
Record Seat Capacity to North America
For the summer season, which begins on 29th March, Iberia has put together its most extensive schedule ever for the United States and Canada. The airline will offer its customers 1,280,254 seats in these markets, 19.02% more than last summer, and will operate up to 166 weekly flights, compared to 144 in the previous season, representing a 15% increase in the number of frequencies.

American has been nominated in six categories for this year’s Freddie Awards. They are also offering travellers the chance to earn 1,000 loyalty points throughout April. Travelers can elevate their inflight dining experience with premium condiments, crafted to deliver big flavour without the additives.
