British Airways Expansion Update 2026

We’re excited to share some big news from British Airways! The airline has announced a major network expansion for winter 2026, introducing two fantastic new destinations — Melbourne, Australia and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

City Park Sunset Melbourne

British Airways is continuing to invest in giving customers more choice, with additional winter flights to Cape Town, Tokyo Haneda, Bridgetown, Kingston, and San Jose — now moving to Heathrow for even better connections from Dublin, Belfast, Shannon, and Cork.

Across the US network, frequencies are also on the rise: New Orleans increases to four flights per week, Baltimore becomes a daily service, and Houston will operate 12 flights weekly.

These winter 2026 developments build on the recent short‑term additions introduced to meet growing demand following the situation in the Middle East. In the past week, British Airways has added seven extra services to Bangkok and Singapore, plus four round trips to the Maldives today, with continued schedule reviews to add more capacity where needed.

You’ll find more details in the link below, and your service provider for full schedule.
