Riviera Travel Appoints Carrie Day as Country Manager to Drive Rapid Expansion in Ireland

#Traveltradetogether

Riviera Travel is pleased to announce Carrie Day’s appointment as Country Manager for Ireland, a strategic move designed to support the company’s ambitious plans for rapid expansion in the Irish market.

Carrie brings over a decade of experience in the travel industry, having held senior roles across retail, tour operators, and trade media. Her most recent role was as Business Development Manager at ITTN. Previous positions include Partnership Growth Manager at Intrepid Travel, as well as roles as Travel Consultant with Marble City Travel and Flight Centre Canada, where she developed significant industry expertise and built lasting relationships across the sector. This unique blend of experience positions her perfectly to lead Riviera’s growth strategy in Ireland.

Vicky Billing, Head of Trade and Partnerships at Riviera Travel, commented: “Carrie’s appointment is a pivotal step in our strategy to grow rapidly in Ireland. Her track record speaks for itself—she knows the market inside out, has built strong relationships across the trade, and brings incredible energy and passion to everything she does. Carrie is exactly the right person to help us strengthen our presence, expand our reach, and enhance our partnerships across Ireland.”

Carrie Day said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Riviera Travel at such an exciting time. The Irish travel industry is one I know and love, and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running. Having worked as both a travel agent and with a tour operator, I understand the challenges and opportunities our trade partners face. My priority will be to support growing sales and continue building confidence in the Riviera Travel brand throughout Ireland.”

Carrie’s appointment marks a significant milestone in Riviera Travel’s ongoing investment in the Irish market, as the company looks to accelerate growth, strengthen trade relationships, and build on its reputation as a trusted partner in premium escorted tours and river cruises.
