Barter’s Travelnet Acquires Premier Travel

Barter’s Travelnet, Ireland’s longest-established travel agency, announced that it has acquired Premier Travel, another well-respected travel agency in Cork. As of Monday 22nd January 2024, all business operations, including the renowned Pilgrim Tours of Premier Travel, have seamlessly transitioned to Barter’s Travelnet located at 92 Patrick Street, Cork. The acquisition will expand Barter’s Travelnet’s established presence in the market and provide more customers with exceptional service.

Premier Travel was a well-established travel agency with a strong reputation for customer service, and a focus on its renowned Pilgrim Tours. Barter’s Travelnet believes that Premier Travel’s expertise will be a valuable asset to its company. “We are excited to welcome Premier Travel to the Barter’s Travelnet family”, said Tom Randles, Managing Director of Barter’s Travelnet. “This acquisition will allow us to offer our customers even more travel options and expertise, with a further focus on group travel and pilgrimages.”

Furthermore, they are proud to announce that Karen Smith, a dedicated member of the Premier Travel team, has joined the Barter’s Travelnet family. Karen’s expertise and familiarity with group travel needs will ensure a seamless continuation of travel arrangements. With Karen at the helm, along with the expert assistance of the team from their Patrick Street location, your travel needs will continue to be personally attended to with utmost care and professionalism.

The Premier Travel offices will no longer be in use and Barter’s Travelnet will take over all future operations. Barter’s is committed to upholding the high standards expected and eagerly anticipates welcoming new and existing valued customers going forward.
