AWTE Summer Portuguese sunshine event.

AWTE (Association of Women Travel Executives) held their End of Summer gathering in the Harcourt Bar. Members and guests enjoyed fine Portuguese wines and nibbles kindly sponsored by Carlos Oliviera from Just Portugal.

AWTE hosted a number of events throughout the year kicking off in March with lunch to mark International Womens Day. There were lunchtime sessions on Decluttering and Digital Marketing and, throughout the summer,  a special focus on health and wellbeing with a Howth Cliff Walk, a Hot Box & Dip (lest you are wondering it’s a sauna followed by a jump into the River Boyne!) a Sea Swim and a Get Into Golf Day. The rain certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits for these outdoor events which were well attended and enjoyed by all.

AWTE provides an excellent opportunity for women working in all aspects of travel to meet, mingle and network in a convivial and supportive environment and last evening was no exception. Let’s just say it ran a little over the allocated time!

It may be the end of the summer but there are plenty more events lined up. AWTE will have an autumn health series focusing on women’s health and work/life balance.  Talks on communication skills, AI and self-development are also on the agenda.
