AWTE Ireland – Association of Women Travel Executives Ireland knows how to celebrate women!

#Travelbizhub #Travelbizconnect

On International Women’s Day, Olwen Mc Kinney, Chairperson of the Association of Women Travel Executives in Ireland, welcomed us warmly and advised the exciting schedule of events for the year. Bernie Burke (Travel Centres ) was guest speaker and she brought us on her journey both business and personal. Bernie’s focus was resilience and she’s shown that with great courage and fortitude. Well done Bernie.

The Spanish Tourist Board in Dublin with Director Sara Laura Pena generously sponsored the day and Patricia Recio (Patrimonio Madrid) travelled over to join us and also offered great support and lovely prizes. TUI Ireland, Dublin Airport and many more stepped up to the plate as sponsors, so sincere thanks to all.

Gratitude to Captain Olwen and her dedicated Committee for steering a steady ship. It was a lovely afternoon in Opium Botanic Gardens with delicious Asian food and flowing wine.
