Anthea Turner to sail on MSC Cruises in June to Iceland and the Fjords

Beloved British broadcaster onboard MSC Virtuosa for one sailing only.

Guests can enjoy complimentary events with Anthea, exclusive to the sailing.

Set sail from Southampton on 8th June 2026 for a 12-night cruise from €1,269.

Well-loved broadcaster Anthea Turner, known for presenting Blue Peter, GMTV and Wish You Were Here, will be joining MSC Cruises this coming June on board MSC Virtuosa.

Departing from Cork, this sailing to Iceland and the Norwegian Fjords promises out-of-this-world scenery, as well as a chance to get to know the real Anthea, a long-time cruise fan who has also written a book called ‘How to Age Well’ and has her own skincare range.

While onboard, Anthea will be taking part in an exclusive Q&A about her life and broadcasting career, as well as holding a meet and greet session with guests. All activities are complimentary and can be booked onboard.

This sailing on MSC Virtuosa is the perfect introduction to the rugged landscapes of Iceland and the spectacular scenery of the Norwegian Fjords. Ports of call include Akureyri, Isafjordur and Reykjavik in Iceland, and Maloy, Hellesylt and Sandnes Stavanger in the Norwegian Fjords. While at sea, guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape and wildlife from the perfect panoramic vantage point.

MSC Virtuosa offers a vibrant onboard experience with a wide range of entertainment, dining and leisure options.

  • Swimming Pools – Take a dip in one of the 5 pools, including an indoor pool, perfect for all weathers. Both adults and kids can also enjoy the Savannah Aquapark, one of the most intricate waterparks at sea.
  • Food and Drink – Choose from 11 dining venues and 21 bars, including MSC Starship Club, a futuristic bar experience where a robotic bartender prepares and serves your drinks.
  • Entertainment – There’s a daily entertainment programme plus two theatres showing a variety of shows, including Dirty Dancing: In Concert with live singers, dancers and musicians.
  • Spa & Wellness – Spend time pampering yourself in the MSC Aurea Spa, or workout in the panoramic gym with the latest Technogym machines.

Antonio Paradiso, VP of International Sales, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Anthea Turner on board MSC Virtuosa for this very special sailing.
