AmaWaterways Launch Flight Inclusive River Cruise Packages from Dublin

River cruise line strengthens trade support for Irish travel partners.

AmaWaterways has announced that travel agents will now be able to reserve flight inclusive river cruise packages for guests flying from the Republic of Ireland, with immediate effect.

The luxury river cruise line already offers its popular cruise-only itineraries from the region and in response to travel agents’ demand has further enhanced its offering by incorporating convenient flights from Dublin.

In line with this recent enhancement to its offering, Business Development Manager Katrina Latimer will be spending more time and resources supporting AmaWaterways’ trade partners in Ireland.

“This is an important milestone for AmaWaterways and demonstrates our commitment to the Irish market,” said Andrea Stafford, sales director of AmaWaterways.  “More than 90% of our cruises are sold through agents so relationships with our trade partners are of paramount importance. AmaWaterways has earned a reputation for creating authentic travel experiences on its fleet of 29 custom-designed ships offering luxury river cruises through the heart of Europe, Africa, Asia and from January 2025, Colombia in South America. Nearly all of AmaWaterways’ staterooms feature a French balcony or a “twin-balcony,” consisting of a French balcony and a full-size step-out balcony, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the comfort of their spacious, well-appointed staterooms.

Locally sourced fine dining is included for all guests, along with a wide selection of complimentary regional wine, beer and soft drinks at every lunch and dinner. Guests are also able to choose from a variety of small group escorted excursions that are included in every port.

AmaWaterways’ flagship vessel AmaMagna, is twice the width of traditional river cruise ships, yet welcomes only 20 percent more guests, allowing generous personal space – with more than half of the 98 staterooms designated as suites measuring between 355 and 710 sq.

To support travel agent partners in their sales and marketing efforts, AmaWaterways offer a broad range of sales tools including overbranded websites, brochures and flyers, as well as a comprehensive trade portal featuring a series of educational webinars.

The seven night ‘Gems of Southeast Europe – A Taste of Christmas Markets’ cruise on AmaMagna departing on 17 November 2024 from Giurgiu to Budapest currently costs from €3,472 per person including return flights from Dublin and an early booking saving of €850 per person.

Seven nights on the ‘Rhine & Moselle Splendours’ Celebration of Wine cruise departing on 20 November 2024 is currently priced from €2,888 per person. Travelling on AmaPrima, the river cruise travels from Luxembourg to Basel and includes flights from Dublin and an early booking saving of €850 per person.
